“Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes..

..design is knowing which ones to keep”

Get to know me!

I’m a UX/UI designer with a formal background in accounting and information-systems, however, I’ve always been a design-thinker. I’ve always loved to analyze random products and try to understand their design decisions, especially one’s that frustrated me. From a cars digital dashboard to a Hydroflask cap, I believe design should be continuously pushed to improve usability and user satisfaction.

Although working in public accounting isn’t a typical design background, those experiences enhanced my abilities as a designer and a problem-solver. While I was responsible for numerous clients and their problems, I relied heavily on my analytical and logical thinking to guide me through issues. Those same problem-solving skills translate to the design process seamlessly and help me tackle UX issues.

I’m an Alumni of General Assembly Design Immersive program. Here I was able to build the foundations of effective UX/UI design by focusing on the principles but also the overall design process that involves collaboration, research, analysis, wire framing, prototyping, testing, and iterations. Most importantly for me I was able to enhance my visual designs skills by studying typography and color palettes, components that really can provide a satisfying effect on end users.

Our world is continuously being digitized and my goal is to be at the forefront of those design decisions using strategy that is evidence-based and user-centric, which ultimately impacts how humans experience technology.

On a personal level I really enjoy traveling, drone videography, fitness, and everything basketball related. I’m currently working on personal project to re-design my favorite fantasy basketball sports app.
